    hey..i jus wanted 2 no if i could fix the icon spacing on my desktop 2 the way i want it 2 wit like auto arrange or sumting like that...cuz my icons are realllly spaced out...and i got them as close as i could...but they seem like 3-4 desktop icons apart 4 sum reason..is there anyway 2 fix it??...w/o doing it manually??...thanks

    I had the same problem at one time...do this. Set your horizontal and vertical icon spacing to 46 (or somewhere around there). Then uncheck 'align to grid' and line up your icons about where you want them to be manually. Then recheck 'align to grid' - they should stay close to the position that you put them in - problem should be solved.

    Let me know if this works. That's what worked for me when I had the same problem.

    i got them closer wit the 46 setting...and they got closer...but not close enough cuz sum of my icons are closer than others...and wen i do that unchecking the align 2 grid and then rechecking them after i manually move them..they move back 2 where they were b4 i moved them manually
