I'm thinking of buying a Vostro 1700 with the following spec:
BASE Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2-cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista® Ultimate (32Bit) - English
HARDWARE SUPPORT Base Warranty - 1 Year Business Hardware Support
LCD 17.0" Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x900) TFT Display
INTEGRATED WEBCAM Matte Jet Black with 2.0 mega pixel camera
MEMORY 2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024)
HARD DRIVE 160GB (5400RPM) SATA Hard Drive
GRAPHICS CARD 256MB nVidia® GeForce® 8600M GT
OPTICAL DRIVE Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive including Software
PRIMARY BATTERY Primary 6-cell Lithium-Ion Battery (56 WHr)
But is it worth it, considering certain componants, can cause delays when ordering?
Thanks in advance

I think the 6 cell battery will cause a delay.
You can probably get a better deal if you look at code N0117012 -
I ordered a very similar specified Vostro 1700 last week. I insisted on the six cell battery, and refused to pay the extra £30. No problem -- just ring CS. There is a delay, but only by a couple of weeks. Estimated arrival date: 18th February. I felt it was worth it, as I didn't want the battery sticking out.
If I order a Vostro 1700, will it be worth it?
