This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Don't pass this feature up. I have a new inspiron 1520 with the dell wireless G adapter and it takes FOREVER to get on my wireless network when booting up or coming back from sleep mode.

    With my m1530 if I open the top and log in by swiping my finger I am ALREADY connected and online! It is SO MUCH BETTER! I can go from being in sleep mode to on the internet in under 10 seconds rather than a minute.
