Your battery is reconditioned. They sold it from the Spare Parts station which ONLY sells reconditioned parts. Nowhere was it written that dell would be shipping this battery from spare parts, although the price is by all means justifiable for a new or reconditioned battery.

So whats that mean it won't last as long?
-
I'm guessing its been used as in they took it out of a returned M1330, fixed it up, and shipped it to us

And the problem here is... ???

They don't have anymore 9 cells. I called yesterday and a Dell rep said every battery she could find for the M1330 was out of stock

yikesss i already sold off all the cheapo 6 cells i bough!
nowhere on the battery did it say refurb..and every customer has been happy -
Well at most those batteries were used for a month and 1/2 so couldn't be much wear and tear.

D94 check the invoice that was included in your purchase, mine had "rules" and "warranty" information on the back which said that Spare parts are reconditioned, and they include a 90 day warranty. Oh well, still got a great deal on it
-
wow I just sold the two that I bought on there for around $75 and both buyers are happy so that's all that counts to me
-
I ordered one as a spare - I plan to keep one fresh, and one to be always plugged in, so hopefully the good one will last far longer than the one always plugged in. Plus, to have an extra battery when traveling is real nice, too.

where did you guys get these for 29 bucks, are there anymore?
-
bummer, I saw the 6-cell for $29 last week since I thought about buying it to make the laptop slightly lighter for my daily commute. I would then save my two 9-cell for travelling. When I saw the low price, I said heck, I will just buy it whenever down the road since it's chump change. Didn't know that it was a great deal and is limited. Now it's $140. Sheesh, anybody want my extra brand new unused 9-cell
If you ordered the M1330 6 cell for $29
