I am looking ot buy the cheapest of the cheapest dell desktop. I wanted to know are there any coupons on here for desktop?

All we have are the ones for laptops. You might check this site
http://www.dailyedeals.com/free_online_coupons/dell_desktop.htm
or just do a google search to find some.
Hope this helps,

I really like what heart gold was mentioning, how they work on commission and have to make a certain amount of sales per month. i might try talking to them intoselling me a $500 desktop and throwing a little something in there for free. that sounds great. thanks heart
Yass. i have done a search and came across that coupon already. It was decent. I will look further more into it. thanks tho

precious,
Immediately after I posted my reply to you a TV commercial came on for a celeron processor for $299 after rebate w/a printer but no speakers and It's misleading. If you called Dell after you see the commercial, they'll tell you it doesn't include half of what you would get for the link Yass sent you to.
I hope by now you jumped on t. You have to realize that this is a notebook forum and you got three moderators that helped you out. the best being Yass offering you the link to the perfect solution. You need that warranty. A three year warranty is typically $260-$280 by itself.
My suggestion is a good idea for the right situation but you've got it all ready for you right through Yass's link. Trust me,you don't know me and for me to say this ,jump on it! If I knew your price range, I would have suggested this from the start.
Post back when you decide. I would be curious .......

So you suggest that I jump on it right away, and this would be the free printer, 3 year warranty and 19 inch lcd upgrade.

yeah I think that when you buy a computer of any kind whatsoever, warranty is the most important next to customer service. I will buy it and do I have to upgrade with dell cant i just buy my own memory and install it? what you think?

Yass,
There are so many things from Dell you get ripped off with. Sometimes I guess a few are easier and worth it for some people. Precious is still tinkering with bothering now or doing it after. You're telling me $60 for memory and/or $20 for speakers Isn't better than the cost of upgrading a 19" display to a 20" [?][?][?] This is why I suggested if necessary to add,go with one, both or as Precious saids possibly later........<hr height='1' noshade id='quote'></font id='quote'></blockquote id='quote'>
No, $60 for 256mb of memory and $20 for speaker is NOT better than the cost of upgrading a 19" display. I've already given the reason, please read my post. While I don't see much point in going from 19" to 20", spending $60 to get 256mb of memory is a big waste of money. simple as that. Thought I'd mention it in case someone might get misled.
cheers,

Yass,
What sucks or gets me "misled" is that I can't ask you about your Acer model that displays under your name. This is a model along with many Acers I'm interested in.
Sorry for being off topic but a desktop is anyway......
