I know a lot of people had driver problems when installing XP
my vostro 1500 has XP built in
Is it illegal for me to post an iso of my XP Driver disk for people?

As long as you don't make the *.iso image auto-activated/validated by setting up a VLK serial using nLite or something I don't see a legal issue.

I believe redistirbution of Microsoft OS media and files is fine as long as it requires a valid method for licensing/activation, and if you are not making profit from it. Mods may feel otherwise, however this is not the type of disc duplication that MS is worried about.

I really don't see a problem with this at all. The driver CD has the same stuff that should be available online to all users anyway, so feel free to share that!

Of course, I'm talking about a driver CD...an operating system CD should not be posted.
