Which wireless adapter did you get? Dell 1505? Intel AG or N?

I've seen many post recommending the Intel N over the dell 1505 because of connectivity issues.

If you want a secure network then you're going to have to configure your Belkin to use WEP or WPA if your router supports it. I would suggest avoiding WEP if possible. That should be in the manual. Once that's done you will need to enter the appropriate information (passphrase or key depending on which security model you use) on your laptop to access the secure network.

If not done yet change the default Admin password on your Belkin router. :)

Look at this The Nickspohn Wireless Guide for more information.
