But im concerned about drivers and so forth, will I be able to use the drivers that I use for Vista (as they are near the same...i think) or will I have to hope that Dell releases some specifically for Windows 7, even though they stopped releasing drivers for the 1520 about a year ago?

The last thing I want is to buy Windows 7 and find that I can't use half of my notebooks functionality haha

    Thanks!

Windows 7 has been pretty good at detecting drivers, for my latitude D630, and usually during the first few windows update checks, finds more/newer versions. You need to make sure you check the update window though, as it won't push these drivers to you automatically. :)
