    WOW big pictures

Sounds like bad memory to me, run Memtest86 and see if you have any errors.

Dell should take care of the problem if it's bad memory & under warranty.

I assume that this problem has been around since you bought the computer/put new memory in.

I ran DELL diagnostics and memtest for hours without any error...

I booted from the memtest CD and ran the test for a whole night without getting any error...

I'd rather think that it's not problem with my memory ...

It started a few weeks ago since DELL first replaced my mobo, and I had 2 more mobo replacements after that... (but it got worse after the last replacement and it happened 3 times today)

Looks like a graphics error. Is your 7400 overheating?

I would start with a fresh install of Windows making sure to run the full format not the quick version.

I suggest you return your laptop, I had that happen once and it turned out that my graphics processor actually popped....I didn't know that was even possible until then.

With all of the trouble your having and quad mobo replacements, you need to get a brand new unit, something is either really screwed up, or somewhere your running a program or using a device thats causing the conflict, if they give you a brand new unit and the same problem persists, we will know its most likely the latter and steps can be taken to identify the culprit.

I just spoke with a Dell rep on the phone and I gave him the links to these pictures. Dell agreed to exchange the system for another. However, the exchange process will take about 3 weeks...

I found the Tech support phone number to be more useful than the online chat, since I actually got to talk to someone. I tried to be very polite and helpful to them; I told them about all the tests I did including running memtest86 from CD for over 5 hours.

Hopefully the new machine doesn't come with vista on it, since I already spent the money and purchased a copy of VISTA home premium of my own.

About the NMI blue screen: DELL said that anything that has memory can cause this kind of error, so this includes lots of device--not only RAM and GPU, even the optical drive has memory in it. So it is really difficult to say what has gone wrong when you get such blue screens.
