    Dear Members,

    My querry is that is it possible for us to access internet in Dell Inspiron 1420 Notebook by inserting a 3G Sim in Sim Card slot with WWAN Card. Dell India itself does not provide this facility in India, but may be we can arrange WWAN Card from Local Computer markets like Nehru place.

    Apart from this, what are the other means of accessing internet while you are travelling except using Data Cards of TATA or Reliance. Basically i am looking for accessing internet charged on usage basis without any fixed charges being incurred on that like data cards.

    Please share views on this.

    The simbased Broadband going to be launched by Tata Docomo using WAn and Evdo technology.

    The best way to surf is use a dedicated sim card to broadband. And small sim dongle to it. its cheap may be 400 rs in delhi.

    By the way i am impressed that this dell model still floating around Dont ever try to fiddle with the hardware of this model other wise your's gonna end up in Garage .......

    Yes you can use this WWAN System service once the service of TATA Docomo starts. But i think Reliance has better plans for Budget customer.
