    Parts are produced in east Asia somewhere, but I think they do some final assembly here.

    I believe that dell has many assembly plants but only two are used for notebooks, Ireland and Malaysia. I believe the one in Ireland is used for Europe's orders while Malaysia is used for the US. (forget where I read it, I'll post a link if I remember)

    Assembled in the places mentioned above, manufactured in Taiwan and China, depending on the model.

    I have a Dell Latitude D830 and it says "Made in Malaysia" on the bottom of the computer.
