I ordered a E6400 from the outlet. They don't have a "detailed" description of what they are selling, so I called them and specifically asked them two simple questions on my order: Is the screen 1440x900 and is the Keyboard backlit?
They said yes to both, after having to ask around less incompetent people for 10 minutes. I received the computer an hour ago, and as I knew was going to be the case, it lacked both.
Now I'm stuck with out a computer -and a credit until they receive this one back.
They would not even give me a credit or coupon of any kind
for a "New" computer I was willing to buy.
I won't even go into not providing on their site a tracking number for 5 days........
    Give me a break.

Hmm, yes, customer service can be a bit of a crapshoot, combine that with so many E6400's in the outlet, and it's kinda a perfect storm.

You can get details on each system in the Outlet though, you'll have to click on the link below "View Details" for each system your interested in. (why this isn't more prominent, I really don't know!) There in a pop up window, it will list, among other things, whether that particular machine has a backlit keyboard, or whether the screen is 1440x900 (listed there as WXGA+)

Did you print out what it said or are you just trying to troll. It says EVERYTHING if you click view details on each computer. It would have said the screen resolution as well as backlit keyboard option.
