My Dell Latitude D620 has 1.0GB, 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM Memory (1 x 1024MB) of Memory. I want to upgrade this to 2GB. Where can I get the extra stick of memory online? Not sure of the exact type etc so would appreciate some help please.

Also, how easy is it to install such on the laptop.

Most laptops it's very easy, just unscrew a couple screws on the bottom and remove the door, and it's right there. :)
I'd search on google for any guides/manuals in case you're not comfortable with doing it (so you have an easy reference guide).
I do all my memory shopping at Crucial, but I'm sure you could find a better price elsewhere, like newegg.
In case you're interested, check out this link.
You can get a 1GB module from them for $20.

Here it is the purchase link: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Memory_Upgrades/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=A0944552&mfgpid=167691&chassisid=8499

And there is one module underneath the keyboard and there is another module on the bottom of your computer, If you want to get assistance on how to install this you can contact Dell tech support over the chat and they will tell you step by step the installation process or if you dont want to contact them and you want to install them on your own here are the instructions for your specific model: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/latd620/en/SM/memory.htm#wp1084976

Thanks for everyone's help. My laptop has 1GB and can take up to 4GB. Unsure what I should add to it - any suggestions? The tasks I am performing is mostly web development.

4GB RAM requires that you're running a 64-bit system. If you have a 32bit system you can only use 3GB even if you have 4GB installed. If that's the case, you might as well by a 1x2GB stick of RAM. Then again, 2GB of total RAM is definitely enough for your needs.

Alternatively I guess, in Vista - Right Click My Computer > Properties....
