I was reading that the X300 can do pretty big overclocks fairly safely. I am pretty new to doing performance tweaks so I was wondering if anybody had done anything with this card. Also, is there anyway to get rid of Dell's underclocking without going against warranty, possibly just getting ATI's drivers? Thanks a lot!

Is there another topic on this that I missed?

Keep in mind that whatever gain you can possibly get from it is going to be relatively minor, it will never even come close to the performance of the next tier -- which is the x700/Go6600 bunch.

Thanks! I had just heard somewhere that it did overclock well but I don't do a lot of gaming so it shouldnt be an issue.

The stock x300 from dell operates at 300mhz. It can easily be bumped up to 400Mhz without any issues. When you get to ~420mhz range, u start crashing. The memory overclocks to about ~260 and starts artifacting at 270ish.
