Okay okay, i know a lot of people probably couldnt care less but i thought id post some pictures of the tear down of my laptop battery

(battery failed after a year, made a unnerving chirping noise and was of course fully discharged before dismantling)
(not even a light on trying to boot with it and voltmeter registered nothing from the terminals and would turn off after 30 seconds even when it registered as being fully charged)

The case survived intact with minimal damage ( I cracked a bit of the plastic getting started)

Interestingly enough the battery tester showed the battery's still were "Good" at 11v going well into the green area on the screen.

    Enjoy

To the "why did you do this?" people, just so i could have something to allow the laptop to sit flat and to fill the gap without having to pay $130+ for a battery that I wont use much.
