    Inpiron Screen loses its "whiteness"

    My inspiron 1420, after a year's use, seems to have gone kinda yellowish! If placed beside a CRT desktop screen, the difference is very very glaring! The whites are not that bright anymore. Any hopes of making the screen "whiter"?

    Not without an LCD replacement...supposedly the LED LCDs Dell has begun shipping in newer model notebooks won't exhibit this behavior even after several years worth of use...

    Weird. I've an old Dell 510m and the whites are well, white! :p
