I have the same problem with my XPS. The problem is with Vista. Reboot with Vista Install CD, and choose restauration. Works for me.

K ill try that, do you know how to automatically install all the drivers instead of manually installing them?

So did you finally get daemon tools to work?

It might help if you could be a little less vague. Maybe let us know why you can't restart. Where is it failing? Do your see your BIOS boot screen (the screen with the giant Dell logo). Do you see the Windows Vista booting screen? Are you getting a BSOD or is it just restarting? You might not have to reinstall the OS.

Edit: I have installed Daemon tools on mine and haven't had a problem.
