    Hello,

I was running the Dell Bootup Diagnostics partition on my laptop today and it reported error: 2000-0411, undetected touchpad, even though the touchpad still works.

    The background information as follows:
    1. I comletely, with the exception of the motherboard, disassembled my whole laptop to clean my fan vents and possibly replace my fan.

After disassembling the laptop it reported this in the diagnostics, but it works just fine everywhere else.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Haven't had this happen to me, but I'd suggest just re-seating the touchpad and/or keyboard connectors. Sometimes a loose connection can do some strange things.
