The only solution I have that works is turning off

Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > MobilePC > TNN

Is this probably the right thing to do?
It says Microsoft Multi-Monitor Manager... so if I have this off does that mean I can't use multiple monitors/external monitors?

My screen won't turn on after sleep about 50% of the time. I have to shut it off, too. It doesn't bother me too much, and I don't know anything about turning that off.

I had that issue with my E1705 and I clean installed XP and it went away. I do not know if that will work for you but just a thought!
