Does anybody have this laptop how is it for web surfing and light gaming? The old lady likes to play Second Life yeah I know it's not really gaming try telling her that. I might play a game on it once and a while nothing major maybe PVZ or some indie games. Is this worth $637 or should I step up to an XPS with a 420m for $850 with a $100 gift card and 2yr warranty. Thanks for the input

I have this and use for web and world of warcraft. On WoW, it plays on ultra settings (720p) at about 16 fps. Medium settings around 25 fps, and pretty smooth. This is with several apps open in the background. I paid 483.00 for it on the outlet with core i5 and that card.

I also have an XPS 14 with the 425m and it is MUCH smoother in WoW, despite that these cards are not that far off on the notebookcheck.com "rankings." It is way smoother, but hotter.

Does not get hot at all really.

    Love those XPS's.

For me, though, it was too close to Sandy Bridge to get one, so I built that Inspiron 15 with the x920.

WHen the good dtuff comes out, I'll hand off the Inspiron to my oldest for college, and get myself an XPS15!

It's what I originally lusted after during the holidays, but the FHD 1080p display was unavailable, otherwise I'd have an XPS15. That, or a ThinkPad W510, which can hold up to 16GB RAM!
