    Hi guys
I got my new 17R today but usually there is a protection material between screen and keyboard but mine did not come with any.
Could it mean its a used machine?

Go to Dells web site and check out the Service Tag for the warranty - it usually has the Ship date info etc. there.

    Was the box sealed ?

Does the display or laptop look blemished in any way ?

The warranty status looks fine as it ends in 1 year from yesterday.
The box was sealed and I have not had time to look for any blemishes. Will have a proper look tonight. Have emailed Dell also.
    Thanks

    So how is your laptop?

I've received mine today and really happy with the performance. Build quality is ok.
Need to stick an SSD in.
