    Hi,

I recently (2 months ago) bought an Inspiron 1520, and am pretty happy with it. Last night, though, the power supply started making this high-pitched noise and stopped giving power to the laptop.

I turned it off and waited until this morning to see if it was something that'd fix itself, but it's still the same today. It's a 90W power supply. Any ideas, or should I just get Dell to replace it?

Noise is normal from laptop PSU's.. Mac's whine like a baby.. We have to turn music up so the mac book pro's in the office don't give us head aches.

But, call Dell, they'll send a replacement.
