    Hey, I'm new here...

I'm looking to build a new dell from scrap parts...found a cheap inspiron 5100 motherboard and looking to put it into a inspiron 1100 system...

they have different bus speeds, the 1100 is slower than the 5100, but can that be overcome...or is it 1100 to 1100...?
