    Inspiron 1100 will not turn on

    Hey guys,

    I'm working on a friends computer and it will not turn on. Sometimes, out of the blue it will but not a regular basis. It's a Dell Inspiron 1100. I have tried every combination of the battery and power supply being plugged in. When I try to start it with just the battery I get two green lights to flas but nothing else. Then if I try to us the power adapter, I don't even get the lights. It seems to me as there is something going on with the physical power on because it won't even start to boot. Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks.
