My girlfriends Dell inspiron 13 recently had a Hard Drive replacement because the Hard drive wouldn't mount. I reinstalled the OS (Vista ultimate) and now the computer is having issues mounting the OS ( it will restart randomly while loading the OS). What would the correct Boot sequence be in the BIOS?

Even if the hard drive is last, you shouldn't have trouble booting if there's nothing else in any drives.

Put the hard drive first just to make sure there's not some other problem. If you still have the problem your boot priority is not the culprit (likely).

Also, double check that in the BIOS the HDD is set to AHCI mode rather than ATA.
