Im getting a weird pop-up saying I have a virus even thought my virus software says it's clean. What I want to do is reboot to a earlier date (prior to the virus) but I can't remember how I did it last time. Please help!

Maybe I need to clarify my question. There is a way to reset your computer to the way it was on, say, July 15 or Aug.3rd or whatever. I know it's possible because I have done it in the past. I found this site on google and figured I'd get a quick reply.

you need to go to System restore and that is located at start menu - programs - accessories - system tools - System Restore.

    cheers.

I can get to the restore calendar, but it won't let me click on a "bold" date. Any ideas?

its not supposed to do that. the lettering is in Blue color and you should be able to click on a bold number and choose the restore point. otherwise somethings faulty in windows.
