The one on the right looks like a sun-burnt Al Pacino. I like the one on the right (i mean the notebook this time). If it has a ULV processor, it should have an optical drive too. If its a standard CPU, they can skimp on the drive. And i don't see an Adamo butt,.. or a Studio barrel hinge. So it's definitely an Inspiron (build quality?). Couple it with either a 4330, 9400m, or G210, as well as a decent price tag then i'll consider buying it if the interior is as nice as the exterior (and if it comes in a matte finish).

On topic, I doubt this 1320 will get released here in the UK. We didn't get the last one. The only Inspiron we got is the 15 inch. And why would people buy this over the Inspiron 14? This seems just as thick but loses the optical drive.

The 13 is .3 in thinner, has HDMI, eSATA and Firewire.

Not bad. IMHO the HP dv3t is the 13" laptop to beat feature wise. This comes close but doesn't have an optical drive but it is more than 1lb lighter. I really think they could have put a slot loaded drive in there. Any portability gained is lost to those who need an optical drive as they have to carry an external with this laptop. Then again, one less thing to go bad on the laptop.

We'll have to wait and see on this. Sounds great on paper though.

Ah, another budget ultraportable on my list. I was hoping a revamp for the Inspiron 13 series since it's getting pretty outdated. Thanks for the find!

Great Find!! Looks like it'll come with CULV processors and, hopefully, will have great battery life. I'm waiting for a similar 12.1" or 11.6" system, though.
