    Hi,

    Decided to go for an Inspiron 14 7437 and mine turned up recently, however upon receiving I've noticed that the frontal corners of the lid do not sit flush with the body of the laptop and appear to curve upwards. Has anybody else encountered this issue? Seems to detract away from the appeal of the thing in my opinion as its pretty smart looking otherwise. The curve upwards seems to be symmetrical to the other side which is making me think is it meant to look like this by design? Would be good to hear if this is the case or not. Is this common? I've seen videos online of something similar, would be good to hear some peoples opinions. Otherwise I'm pretty pleased with this. Pics below;

    I'd be pretty sure this isn't by design, but rather than the edges bending up, I'd say the center got dented somehow. That being said, it doesn't seem like a big deal, but if it's a new laptop and it bothers you, you should definitely complain to Dell.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 7537.
    In my laptop, the top metal panel above the keyboard is also kind of bent upward.
    These model series is actually built from cheap material and subjected to heavy cost cutting and have low quality check; that's why these look very premium overall but quality is pathetic.
    Display, wifi, keyboard, body material are cheap.
