    NVIDIA chip has croaked.
I haggled with Dell after i sent the BBB a message.
The laptop of course is out of warranty. They offered to fix it for $300 and some change. I told them i could buy a new board for $230, he came back and said they would do it for $159.

I am considering just replacing the board with the Intel chip instead so i dont have to deal with this again.

Are the boards Dell is replacing with better than the originals?
If i use the intel board, will i need a new heatsink; as i was told it was different?

    Thanks guys/gals.
