    Hi there guys,

So I'm very happy with my Inspiron 1420 but something has been driving me nuts for the past 3 weeks and I just can't take it anymore. So when I got the laptop it had vista home installed and I formatted the hdd and installed vista ultimate. I thought I installed all the drivers I need but now that I need my PCMCIA slot to connect to the internet (vodafone 3g cards ...) it just won't work. It won't even recognize the card when inserted. So that lead me to believe my PCMCIA drivers are missing and for some reason I'm unable to find them on the DELL web site.

I would appreciated if anyone who faced a similar problem could give me a hand. I've been googling stuff for the past 3-4 days and I don't seem to find anything. I tried downloading the newest vodafone upgrades/software for the card + vista specific drivers from the HUAWEI web site and the thing doesn't want to work because the slot is off :(

So yeah, any idea where I can find those Vista 32-bit drivers for my PCMCIA??? Google didn't help me much for the first time in my life :(

    Cheerz everyone!

The 1420 does not have a PCMCIA slot, it has an Express Card slot. Is the Express Card slot what you are trying to use?
