My 1420 has started to have some problems here - nothing major that stops me from using it ... but a few.

First - The power plug seems to come out very easily; if I look at it wrong it pops out.

Second - My touchpad is ... touchy? If Im using it, the touchpad will start to have a "fit" where it just doesn't work at all for 3-4 minutes and then it stops. (this doesn't really affect me too much as I usually use a mouse)

Third - My battery doesn't do 96,7,8,9%. When I'm running on battery it will go 100% to 95% ...

Should I contact dell or just live with it? Now would be the perfect time if I needed to get work done as it is my winter break.

Is it still under warranty? If it is you might as well get them fixed while it is covered. Plus you can have downtime now so it would prevent it from completely breaking when you need it.
