    Inspiron 1420/Vostro 1400 - the same thing?

    SO.... I was looking into ordering an Inspiron 1420, but is the Vostro 1400 essentially the same?

    I like how the Vostro doesn't come with any trial software because I never use any of that anyways and it's just a pain. It also seems that the Vostro line is less expensive even though I configured it exactly like the Inspiron.

    So far the only downside I can see is that the Vostro 1400 doesn't come in different colors like the Inspiron 1420 - but then again I don't really like any of the color choices available and would probably go with the black anyways.

    Are there any major differences I should be aware of? Anyone want to share their experiences with either system? THANKS!

    Not that I know of, they are basically the same. Just as a warning, i've seen dells with the colored screen delayed 2-4 weeks...BEWARE!!!
