    Inspiron 1420 batteries should work in Vostro 1400s?

    Other than color scheme they are essentially the exact same notebook, so there should be no reason why the Inspiron battery shouldn't work in a Vostro or the vice versa.

    Do they have same part numbers?

    What about the 1500 Vs the 1400? They look like they'll work in either size notebook.

    I don't see why they wouldn't. Same size notebook, virtually same design and everything.
