    Inspiron 1420, any good? And Vs Vostro 1400

    I don't see much about the Inspiron 1420 in these forums. Are they really bad? How do they stack up against a Vostro 1400. I was originally going to get an XPS 1530 but I figure I won't use it for gaming, so would rather like the smaller size and increased battery life at the cost of going from an 8600 to 8400.

    They are very much the same, except the Vostro is all black (no silver and custom color) and the Vostro has more business-oriented support (warranties, coupons, etc). Also, the Vostro is cheaper as you can see in the chart to your left. ;)

    Warning: these laptops are heavier than the XPS!
