    Inspiron 1420, why does the resolution keep going lower?

    When I go to Start, Power button (the power symbol) and it goes into standby, then I close the lid. When I open the lid and it goes back to an on state, it reverts to 1024x768 or something like that.. much lower than the res I like 1280x800. How do I stop it from doing that?

    I'm pretty sure it has to do with what happens when I close the lid... where do I go to change how the computer behaves when I close the lid?
