    So about the Inspiron 1425 rumor on Engadget.com, a Dell rep said:

    It looks like the old Vostro 1400. It also looks like we are getting no 1425. :(

    It looks a bit different than a vostro 1400-It's lid is different for starters. The 1400 lid doesn't have a latch, and has a better integrated webcam. Also, port placement is different too.

    Very interesting though, perhaps it's an emerging market only model...

    I like the way it looks. I dont like that Dell used a different power adapter.

    Never heard of it though it does look better, I think Dell is starting to come out with better designs.

    Dell's answer to all of its competitors' new laptops is one with a bland design that uses year-old tech?!

    EDIT: Never mind. China only. Still, Dell needs to clean up their act and release some new stuff.

    Specs-wise it's pretty much the same as the 1420, so what's the point of this 1425 in the first place, apart from the black chassis? :confused:
