Look nice ...
-
nice!!!!!
-
why would they call it inspiron 1535???
-
me no likie!
-
I like that design a lot. Do the hinges work better like that?
-
SWEEEEEEEEEEET !!! THIS was just what i was hoping for - an XPS 1330/1530 design in a 17" model but not break the bank !!
hopefully this article is right on -
the 1735 would be nice.
Too bad ....i was hoping that the XPS' exclusive look would last just a tiny bit longer.
I'm still waiting for the Latitude E. -
Crap - I knew as soon as I bought.....
Anyway, I will definitely be looking forward to seeing the 1735. I really like that "look", but I like Sony too... -
-
wow,i want to see new xps 1330/1530 ...
-
That bears a STRIKING resemblance to the HP look and feel of their notebooks.
Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery... -
finally - backlit keyboards..nice
and yes, i am eager to see the new xps....june is gonna be interesting
-
Hmn aren't 1XX5 series usually carry lower end specs?
Sure looks nice though. -
But look at the naming scheme...I'm wondering if the 1535 would be better than the 1530, because if they were to bring in a successor to the 1530, it can't be called a 1535 because that name is already taken. Just like how it was when they made the jump from 1520 to 1525. But this is unfair man, I was just about sold on a 1530 and now this, confusing my choices even more because I know that as soon as I get a 1530, they'll refresh the XPS line.
-
I hope the keyboard isn't as crappy as the pictures look.
-
I should have waited 4 yrs and go the new 1595
-
Oh, a up coming treat! I'm so buying this lappie if we get a 8600gt+ GPU and a MATTE screen option.
Really good looking and slim, and i love the customization options too. -
Nice and sleek
An improvement each time
-
Crap, I ordered my 1525 yesterday, would it be possible to return it in a couple weeks and order a 1535 if the prices are okay ? How much money would I lose doing that ?
-
-
i doubt we'll get new xpss SO soon. the line is practically brand new... the current inspirons and latitudes have been around much much longer.
but yes the new xpss when they do come out will prolly look amazing -
I want to see both the Blu-Ray drive and backlit keyboards lifted and dropped into an M1330 revision ASAP.
With regard the overall naming conventions that Dell now use, what's confusing about them?
One's called the 'Inspiron 15xx', one's called the 'Vostro 15xx' and one's called the 'XPS 15xx'. The numbers alone only describe the product version, not the demographic. -
Those look nice.
-
-
The new Inspiron boxy design reminds me of Lenovo IdeaPad Y series
-
wow wonder if they weigh as much as the xps m1530. just wondering so will the xps line be updated in time for next school year or around september or octoberish?
-
I wasn't refering to the M1530. But the next XPS M1530 will likely take it's cues from a revised M1330 as this generations did. -
Yes, sorry, I meant the 1530. That's practically brand new still.
And m1330 design issues only JUST got sorted out... -
-
Those are sweet looking.
-
What I meant to say was that I somehow doubt they'll completely switch the XPS line SO soon. It's barely been a year, and barely a few months for the 1530. I'd say it'd be more likely to just see new processor incorporation, perhaps a backlit keyboard, BT 2.1, but somehow I don't think an entirely new line refresh makes sense.
But that's just me -
Crap! And i just sold myself on getting a xps 1530 too; this likely means an upgrade in the xps line, but i wouldnt know when, I ordered my xps 1530 on april 29th... its still in production; what should i do? Cancel and wait it out, or just get it?
My core specs:
-
there might be a drop in the price, but not major difference,
I'd say keep the order... -
id say it depends on how bad you need the notebook, and how long your willing to wait, they could take a long time to redo the XPS and on dells website, you still cant purchase one of these new inspiron style laptops yet.
and its technology the minute you order something its outdated and something new is already on the way.
i just put in a 200gb 7200 rpm hdd and now you are able to buy a 250 gb 7200rpm drive, just an example, this all happend within 2 months, could be do to lack of research on my part though too. like i said just an example. -
Ugh! I just bought a 1525 a month ago!
-
I'd need to see closer-up photos to really have a firm opinion on the style of these...
-
lol technology is always changing, why do you guys get so upset when new stuff comes out? Then you're gonna keep kicking yourself for not waiting.
-
these designs seem like they are suited towards business use, maybe due to the sharp corners. from the pictures... i'd still prefer the current xps laptops over the inspiron redesign -
geez you people need to stop freaking out and just enjoy your current laptop. if you want to play the waiting game, have fun waiting forever. something better is ALWAYS around the corner
-
didnt they release the 1525 just few months ago? and if they put a dedicated video card then wont it kill xps sales.
-
This is crazy how fast they are making new models! I'm not complaining at all but for real! Less than a year and they have sold 4 different models for 15" inspirons! 1505, 1520, 1525, and now 1535!
-
I really like the new design...I actually like black on a laptop more so than any other color...it kind of gives it an elegant or "classy" look.
-
-
Wow lookin HAWT like the XPS series!
-
Jayayess1190 Waiting on Intel Cannonlake
Can't wait to see the M1330's replacement. The 1435 is nice.
-
It'll go into the M1330.
'Centrino 2' implies Display Port, Wi-Max, GigE, and faster, cooler, more efficient processing. This leaves the door open for a Blu-Ray drive to bolster that HDMI port and perhaps even a GPU update to support it. There are also 500GB notebook drives starting to circulate, and 1440x900 resolution LED panels on 13.3" rivals that have already reached the market.
In my opinion there is a lot of scope for development within the existing design now, and that's why I haven't taken the plunge on the M1330 yet. After the lacklustre affair that was the Penryn chip release I realised that Montevina/Centrino 2 and its inherrent support for most of the important emerging technologies would be the thing worth waiting for, prior to making my investment.
I only hope I'm not disappointed. Based on the current form of both the new Inspiron and Latitude I think there's good reason to be excited for the M1330's future. -
Will they have dedicated graphics cards? If they don't...it's kind of a moot point for some of us.
I mean at least an 8400m GS/9-series equivalent would be good. -
-
o my god, it looks like the designer died at the end of the lcd panel an they had to think of something. personaly i think they should have sticked with the xps 1330 and 1530 designs
-
god, these things are gorgeous.i just wish they would have at least made a 13 inch model. i was wondering if dell were gonna stick with the current model for awhile yet. they look like the leenovas new 13 inch screen model.
Inspiron 1435, 1535 and 1735 leaked ...
