Hi,
I just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible to install a backlit keyboard in the N4110. I researched a bit and found some sellers and a backlit keyboard is mentioned in Dell bios histories in other countries. If you take off the stock keyboard the connector to power the board is covered by plastic. Instead of totally dissambling the laptop I was able to loosen some screws and pry up the plastic covering the motherboard (just below the keyboard). A low power soldering iron was used to trace the seams to uncover the connector. Once the keyboard was installed it was recognized (light's up) and an option shows up in the Dell customized windows mobility center. I purchased the keyboard off an ebay seller and it works great. I can provide some pics if needed. If you want to try it's best to totally remove the black plastic piece covering the motherboard under the keyboard. Frankly I'm suprised my laptop still works.
