    I have an inspiron 4110 with i3 2350m dual core processor can I upgrade to i7 2630qm.. Since its a quad core will it overheat or do I need to change heat sink or will it be slightly hotter but not too hot?

    Unfortunately, you would need to replace the system board if you decide that you wanted to go with the I7 processor.

    Theoritically it should POST, whether the cooling system is enough to handle a 45 watt TDP processor is another story.
