Purchased an Inspiron 15 7547 early january and as of a couple days ago, the fan has been making a rattling/vibrating noise. It sounds like the blades are hitting something or perhaps the fans are unevenly balanced and causing a vibration similar to the noise you'd hear if you gently touched your finger to the edge of a fan. Anyone experienced anything like this? Any possible fixes?

same issue exists for the xps 13 2015 model aswell. both of my units did that. got the fan replaced by a tech today. finally no rattling sound anymore. exchanging the machine likely wont help. better let them replace the fan as they seem to be a new batch.
    good luck
