Hey guys I have an ASUS MS246 23in monitor and I am trying to connect my new inspiron 15 to it. The display with 1080P only fills up about 80% of the screen and the sides of the screen is filled with black borders and the image in the middle is somewhat pixelated.

I am running 1680*1050 right now, which is not the native resolution of this monitor. The text looks pretty jagged.

I googled the problem and it seems like a problem with the new ATI drivers. Anyone has any ideas?

Have you tried updating the drivers?

If worst comes to worse and that doesn't help, purge all ATi folders in regedit and reinstall.
