I press the power button on the notebook.
The screen turns on with the DELL bios screen.
And from there it doesn't change! There is a little red bar on the button that is not filling up. What is wrong??

Hold Fn on the keyboard and press the power button for Dell Diagnostics, which in your situation may or may not load up.

Ok..I didn't follow your advice namaiki, but only because I didn't get a chance! I brought the laptop to my friend and he did something with it. So now the computer has 2 OS' when booting up, both are Windows XP except one of them doesn't work. And I have two partitions too.

Lol, the ironic thing is, before it wouldn't boot up...now it won't shut down! It just freezes on the desktop screen after the task bar and icons disappear. I have to press the power button to shut it off. So confused...
