    Inspiron 1520 (or any Dell w/ RFC83x) 64bit XD Card Fixed

    I didn't see this posted anywhere and a thread search came up dry so I'm posting this information here.

    I'm not sure how many other users are like myself where the only loss on the conversion to 64bit was the loss of the XD card reader on my 1520. Using it would ALWAYS result in BSODs in Vista Ultimate x64 RTM and SP1. Today on a scan of Dell's website for drivers that might be newer and helpful to me I got lucky. I found a newer driver for the RFC83x chipsets that doesn't cause BSODs and allows full use of the XD card slot.

    I only tested this on my i1520, but I'm sure it will work on any laptop with the same card reader chipset (RFC833).

    Hopefully this helps someone else as well...
