I hear that LCD's manufactured by Samsung are sub-par to the one's manufacrued by LG-Philips which are supposed to be the best out there.

Does anyone know if this seems correct?

    A) According to many, Samsung is not the manufacturer , it's Seiko something.
    B) A search will garner a TON of threads that have already answered this question.
    C) Either way, there is no way to request a certain LCD manufactured screen from Dell, just the luck of the draw.
