I'm currently customizing an Inspiron 1520 online via my university's premier dell site, and I'm wondering what specifically they are talking about when they allow you select an "LCD back screen color" along with the webcam option. I know I'd like a webcam built in, but where is this color going to appear? Is it the entire border of plastic around the screen, or just around the webcam itself? And why is the default basic black, when the photos all show the inside of the laptop to be a silver color?
Thank you in advance for anyone who can answer this =)

its the color of the top of the notebook
ya get to choose -
Now I've confused myself...
So for the "System Color" option, you can choose from the fancy names like "Espresso" and "Alpine."
For the "LCD back screen color" option you can choose from more boring color choices like "Dark Chocolate" or "Metallic Green", but these are listed as "premium."
So... does the system color refer to the bottom half of the laptop, and the LCD back screen color refer to the top? -
metallic green? Where are you seeing that in the configurator?

I am finding the colors such as "dark chocolate" and "metallic green" under the "Camera" option, which then has choices such as "premium soft touch dark chocolate LCD back screen with webcam", or without a webcam.
I ended up ordering mine with both the "espresso brown" system color option, AND the "dark chocolate" LCD backscreen w/webcam option, just to make sure I get a brown laptop instead of a brown-bottomed, black-top laptop.
