Hi, this query is in regards to the Inspiron 1520.

I will be moving from NZ to Korea for about a 2 months time.
From my belief, the power used in NZ is 240V whereas the power in Korea is 220V.

Will the AC adapter do some tinkering to make sure the notebook is not getting a difference in V - or will I need to get a 3rd party V exchange adapter?

Also, what are the effects of a voltage change (both higher and lower) on a notebook?

No problem. The supply should be specified for 100-240v input.
