When I got my machine, I was able to press both touchpad buttons at the same time to emulate a middle button click.

I formatted and installed Vista 64-bit, but I can't seem to find the option to re-enable this.

I'm using the latest 64-bit driver from the Synaptics website.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

the synaptic drivers don't have that option, only the dell drivers do.

This driver from DELL 9.1.18.6 has that functionality :

    http://ftp.us.dell.com/input/R157048.EXE

The newer Synaptic 10.x drivers do not seem to have this option though they provide options for tap zones....

Don't use their ftp site directly; go to www.dell.com and go to the support section... then Drivers.

I had the same problem. When I updated to the latest Synaptics driver, the middle-click feature went away. I couldn't stand that, so I reverted back to the Dell driver.
