When I got my machine, I was able to press both touchpad buttons at the same time to emulate a middle button click.
I formatted and installed Vista 64-bit, but I can't seem to find the option to re-enable this.
I'm using the latest 64-bit driver from the Synaptics website.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

the synaptic drivers don't have that option, only the dell drivers do.
-
Does dell have 64-bit drivers for this device?
-
This driver from DELL 9.1.18.6 has that functionality :
http://ftp.us.dell.com/input/R157048.EXE
The newer Synaptic 10.x drivers do not seem to have this option though they provide options for tap zones.... -
I don't understand how to navigate Dell's ftp..how do you know what driver to grab?
-
Don't use their ftp site directly; go to www.dell.com and go to the support section... then Drivers.

I had the same problem. When I updated to the latest Synaptics driver, the middle-click feature went away. I couldn't stand that, so I reverted back to the Dell driver.
