Is there a way I can use my laptop screen as a screen for the PS2? I'm thinking perhaps an ExpressCard might be able to facilitate this, but don't know if such a card actually exists. FireWire and USB would also be options. Other ports are S-Video and VGA, but as far as I know those are output only.

A TV of course would be the easy option...but if I can find a cheap solution using the laptop monitor that would be preferable, since I'm guessing TV's would be considerably more expensive.

    Thanks!

Yes, you can get a TV Tuner card that will fit in your express slot. My friend did this to play his Wii at college without having to bring a TV.

So then would I just plug the PS2 into the component in slots on the ExpressCard?

Also, any recommendations on one? I see there are also USB ones available, and really don't know which ones are good. I run Windows XP Home, so it has to run well on that - XP MCE is not an option and I have no intention of ever running Vista again. Some of the newegg reviews indicate some run better on Vista or XP MCE than XP Home, so I'm a bit cautious about going for one of those.

There really isn't much of a difference, those companies aren't allowed to make the picture quality better than SD so unless you want to spend over 160 on an Enhanced Definition card, anything under is about the same. (just don't buy one that's too cheap because there's almost no support for those)
