I'm changing my order. I don't like what I've read on the WSXGA+. I want to game on this system and I figure the 1280x800 will be more future proof.
So which one is:
-Less grainy
-Better for gaming
-Less light leakage
-Better for watching dvds
Or is the 1440x900 better?
Thanks,
-Taylor
Btw: I have 5 hrs to decide I will order before I go to bed tonight and I go to bed at 10pm CSD. And no I'm not old I'm 20 as of July 17th.

I have glossy and I love it. No graniness or anything.

Glossy ftw. I just installed Oblivion and it looks AMAZING. I also have nearly no light leakage.
-
no problems with my 1280X800 glossy at all.
love it... -
How is it for gaming?
-
Glossy it is then!!!
Thanks guys,

try to check out some if you can at stores. I've seen glossy screens before and I don't like them too much, so I don't really care if it adds to the vividness of the screen.

So, from what I understand the glossy 1280x800 w/ glossy has no graininess and is good for gaming?

from what I hear, I think the trulife screens are the grainy ones. but I'm not 100% sure... But I really do not like glossy screens so I'm not too effected by this; I don't think lol.

This is just way too confusing. Some people are saying glossy is perfect, while others are saying glossy is the only one with grainy. By the time I find out my laptop will be here and I'll have to send it back again.

I really wish I had the answer Cactapus, for you and me both

I guess I'll find out if I like it or not when I get it, if not I'll wait another month to get it back again, lol.
