    Inspiron 1520 CPU HeatSync Help!

    So I got my new motherboard today. Putting it in, The heat sinc on the end of the one for the CPU doesn't agree with the heat tube and sinc for the graphics card.

    Did Dell just use a smaller one? I'm going to be cutting the excess off and trying that.

    Umm.....could you post a pic? I wouldn't be cutting anything. Perhaps give Dell a call too and get the right parts if you think you have the wrong one.
